Hello Sassy friends and a happy Friday to you all!
I will confess that I ran out of ink whilst printing these pics. Blergh. I'm sure that's happened to a lot of us at some point or another! Thankfully, the washed out tones actually worked out pretty well with this insanely gorgeous Crate 'Craft Market' paper (which I have been hoarding with a capital H!)
The top picture makes me laugh. It's so typical of the silly things my DH does to wind me up! It always ends up with me laughing at his antics, but not without a disgruntled whinge first!
The glitter paper set the mood for this page and the Heidi Swapp Wanderlust 'Happy' cutting die introduced the theme.
I arranged the elements, giving some of the stickers some machine stitching to bring them to life. I also used a pink American Crafts marker as well as a gold marker to colour some of the little Studio Calico star wood veneer.
I was kind've ok with how the page looked at that stage, but it was missing something. Out came a selection of alpha stickers in pinks and aqua tones, selecting only C and R in both upper and lower case. I think they really unite the theme well.
Wishing you a fantastic weekend!
