Hi everyone. I'm back for my last post as the November guest designer for Sassy Scrappers. Today I'm sharing a layout that I created using the November mood board as inspiration. This collection has a number of vintage elements, which I thought would be perfect for scrapping some older Christmas photos. For this layout I've used one of my husband's family photos from the UK almost 20 years ago. I started with a kraft cardstock base and layered a number of different red, green and gold papers behind the photo, including some patterned papers from the Simple Stories Claus & Co collection and a beautiful metallic gold vellum from My Minds Eye. For the title I used a wood veneer from the Cocoa Vanilla Tis the Season collection that matched the mood board and layered it over a tag. I embellished with die cuts from the Simple Stories Claus & Co Bits and Pieces pack, sequins from the Pink Paislee Yuletide collection and more wood veneers. To finish the layout I added a border of machine stitching with a gold thread for some extra sparkle. Here's the November mood board. We'd love for you to play along with us this month. Thanks so much for stopping by today.Kat I used these products from the Sassy Store:
