Hello Sassy Friends! Welcome back to Project Life 2015. We've had a little break away from the blog but this month we are raring to go in preparation for December! There are a lot of new gorgeous collections in the Sassy Store at the moment, to help with documenting the holiday season and I've been teamed up with October Afternoon | Under The Tree!
Each Monday, during November, I thought that instead of sharing my latest PL2015 spreads, I'd work ahead and put together a series of mini tutorial for PL filler cards. Today I am going to start with a December title card.
step 1: grab your supplies; OA Card Sending PP, OA Cocoa Sipping PP, OA Cardstock Stickers, Bella Blvd Enamel DooDads (Ice), Bella Blvd chipboard alphas, Kelly Purkey clear stamps. tools - sewing machine, ink.
step 2: Trim the OA Card Sending PP to size - 4"x6". Ink the edges slightly.
step 3: Using large chipboard alphas as a guide, trace around their outside edge with the reverse side up, on the back of the OA Cocoa Sipping PP. Leave enough space between each letter spelling "DEC", to create a border for the large chipboard alphas.
step 4: Adhere the chipboard letters to the pp that has just been trimmed out. Align the letters to the centre of the 4"x6" card.
step 5: Trim a 1cm width paper/cardstock strip and create a banner with notches on each end. Using the Kelly Purkey All Decked Out clear stamps, stamp a sentiment directly onto the banner strip. Leave enough space at the end to add OA Cardstock stickers to document the week. The numbers are from Jillibean Soup. Adhere the banner below the alphas on the 4x6 card.
step 6: Finish off the card by machine stitching around the embellished area and adding enamel stars along the stitched line.
And there you go! One title card completed and ready to slip straight into your pocket pages. Join me next week for a mini tutorial using the Heidi Swapp Minc. Thanks for joining me here today..x
